Sometimes I Wish

Old age and loneliness, unconditional love
Eternal peace and God up above
Hate, human cruelty, neglect and need
Veterans sacrifice & Government greed
Seniors, abandonment and animal abuse
Disrespect for others or the love of a pet
Give it your best, we arent there yet

chorus
Sometimes I wish I didnt think so much
Sometimes I wish I just couldnt see
Sometimes I just get mad or sad
Sometimes I wish I just wasnt me

Theres much more to life than money and fun
When I cant hold back the tears, and I just want to run
There is no shame, when you want to cry
But life is worth living, so I just try

When I witness these things year after year
When I see other people living in fear
When I think too much, and I just want to die
Life is worth living so I dont ask why

Live righteous and good and do what you can
Your reward is eternal so just make your stand
Our blessings are given right from the start
So live your life right from your heart.
