Lived for the moment even when knowing what lyed ahead
Enjoyed every second but our time quickly sped
Maybe it wasn't the right time maybe we should've waited
Feelings of being more then friends we both never anticipated
Each day talking each day being together
Were the moments I wished lasted forever
With everything that happened with everything that was done
Regrets being with you I cant even think of one
You ran away from your happiness to prevent outside drama
I understand the reasons but down the line can cause major trauma
The heart knows what it wants and youll one day be reminded
Can try to ignore the obvious but it can never be blinded
I still remember the first time we were ever alone
The feelings and laughter was something that couldve never been known
I Rushed home to write you a little song
Express everything I felt the feelings for you was just to strong
Couldn't keep it all in I just had to let you know
Being just friends had my mind on stop and go
Thinking I could hold back but my feelings fought me to the very end
Bottom line I knew I wanted to be your boyfriend
The next morning you drove over and admitted you fell for me
Telling me your current situation was rough But with me was where you wanted to be
The same moment we had our first kiss
I knew from that moment together or not my feelings for you I could never dismiss
Its been about a month since you been gone
Through it all I'm still holding on
Don't know what tomorrow brings or what the future has stored
But from now to then for you Ill always have an open door
