Casting down her eyes
My love does look at me.
High atop her horse,
Clad in ermine and flowing robes,
My love does look at me.
She seems not to realize
How we differ so.
My love cannot see
That she sits atop a grand, white horse,
While I stand among the swine.
How sweet my love must be
To never be able to realize
How we differ so.
How truly odd must she be
To ever have fallen in love with me.
