Daddy, Did you know that I learned how to read?
Daddy, Did you know that I learned how to need?
You left when I was holding a Cabbage Patch Doll
Little did I know that my world was going to fall
Daddy, Did you know that I made straight A's?
You weren't there to see it, but I did it!
You weren't a part of it, but I was in it!
I saw my Mommy cry, and I won't see that again
I study hard to get a degree, I want to be a 10
You don't acknowledge me as yours
You don't call me that's for sure
Daddy, can you feel my pain?
I wake up at night and wonder if I'm sane.
I don't know what to say to you 'Dad'
From what everyone says you're a cad
