Untitled Poem
James C Bernthal

It's strange and yet it's true,
I've not the guts to tell
That when I look at you,
You've got me in a spell.

I know that I should say
You make my senses dance.
No matter what the day,
You've got me in a trance.

I want to tell you that I care.
I try to tell you but don't dare.

I'd cheat for you.
I'd lie for you.
I'd kill for you.
I'd die for you.

I've had this for four years;
The feeling seems to linger.
You don't know yet, dear,
But you have me round your finger.

"very sweet and the flow is excellent" -- km.
"This is a good poem that flows well.I can't help but wonder if it's true.If it is then you should tell her.How about telling her with a poem or maybe show her this one." -- David Daniels.
"Do you think so? I'm not essentially a poet, but these words kind of flowed onto the page... or moniter. I'm afraid it is true, but I wasn't planning to speak up until the last day of college. She's got a "special friend" now. Oh, the heartache!" -- James C. Bernthal.
