ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I love writing about nature and encorporating all of the senses so that the reader can almost experience what they are reading. (thanks to my creative writing teacher, I have become better at descriptive writing.)

Oh let the sun beat down upon my face

Kashmir boomed from the speakers of my car
and flowed out the windows
for everyone on the street to hear.
It seemed as if today was the first time I had ever seen sunlight.
The luminous rays warmed one side of my face,
which relieved me from the constant downpour
and chilliness of the past two weeks.
The warmth spread throughout my entire body,
rejuvenating my mind and soul.
Although the world looked slightly orange through my brown-rimmed, retro sunglasses,
it was a beautiful day.
The breeze swooshed through the windows of my car.
My hair was restrained from flowing because of the hat n my head,
but not for long.
I removed my hat and my dark brown locks were free to take to the air.

I am a traveler of both time and space. Be where I have been.
