The Sound Of Lovers
Adagio

The sound of lovers, contributors to the chorus of passion, fills the night.
The solitary golden flame flickers at the arrival of the gentle breeze,
While silhouettes move gracefully as shadows envelop them.

From the summer eve, a solitary form, beautiful in its flight,
Invades the moments intimacy.
The creature, majestic in its entrance, heartbreaking with its loneliness,
Dances to the rhythm of the unified shadows.
Dipping and weaving, teasing the golden candlelight, circling the haloed flickering, mesmerizing in flight.

Lovers riding the wave of exquisite unity,
Innocent to the intrusion,
Unsympathetic to the plight of loneliness.
They share their selfish bond, aware only of each other.
They move to the music, the love that they have found.

Rising on powdered wings to the climax of love,
The solitary moth attacks the golden eye.
As the union is undone and the blackened wick grows higher,
The loveless creature dies alone within passions fire.
