Existence Bound
Redell Turner

Im living the nonexistent life.
The gentle wandering of pratfalls and misshapen hopes and beliefs.
 Standing high,
 on a brick platform,
 I surmised,
 while looking at the darkened,
 moonlit sky,
 this was fact.
 Fruitless hopes
transfixed on that grey, glowing orb.
Wondering, hoping someone else can see what Im seeing.
 Life
 so small, so simple.
 Nonexistent.
Fueled by an intensity to see the world, experience every feeling possible.
 To be Everyman.
And realize, my eyes are shut.
 Closed forever,
never to see, touch, taste or smell,
anything that isnt already laid out for me.
