Nothing
R Bennett Okerstrom

 Nothing to fall back on,
 Nothing to hold as mine,
 Nothing to call my own,
 Nothing to redesign,
Nothing to share a thought with,
 Nothing to spend some time,
 Nothing to catch my gaze,
 Nothing to see as fine.

Nothing to shed a tear for,
 Nothing to realign,
 Nothing to set a goal,
 Nothing to wine and dine,
 Nothing to see away,
 Nothing to drop a line,
 Nothing to ask a question,
 Nothing to love devine.
