A Message From God
Abbie Angel

My name is Abbie Angel. I am a runaway since April of 2004 and I have been going from city to city, looking for thingsanswers, happiness and things. I hitch rides in the back of trucks, mostly when the driver dont know about it. Sometimes I walk along country roads; sometimes I manage to get bus fare. I write stories by visiting libraries and sending them out. I talk through my letters because I feel like I have some friends out there with readers; and I like to read the stories at this website.
I came in to this new city four days ago. I cant mention the name because I dont want anybody reading my stories who might figure out where I am. I dont want to be found because I cant go back; my home is the cold, dirty street now. My dad, who died in a car crash when a drunk hit him, said that I was his angel, so that is where my last fake name came from. I will always be dads angel no matter where he is and sometimes, when I talk to my own guardian angel on scary nights, he tells me that my dad is in heaven now. Abbie was the name of my pet cat. I loved her so much but something happened to her. When Steve moved in with mom, he got mad at me for having Abbie. One day he took her in the car somewhere and I never saw her again.
I found a Catholic church here and sat in back in the shadows, praying. I was so tired and hungry that I fell asleep, and when I woke up, a priest was staring down at me. I was really scared because he was between me and the door. He was an old priest with tired, gray eyes, but kind eyes. He had a grandfathers smile and told me he would not hurt me. He said that he would not ask me any questions that would make me fib to him. He handed me a brown paper bag that had some bread, a piece of cheese, cold chicken and a little money in it. We prayed together a little, and then he handed me a paper with a prayer to the Blessed Mother on it:
O Most beautiful Flower of Mt. Carmel,
Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven,
Blessed Mother of the Son of God,
Immaculate Virgin, assist me in my necessity.
O Star of the Sea, help me and show me herein
You are my Mother.
O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven
And Earth, I humbly beseech you
From the bottom of my heart and succor me
In my necessity(he said make a request now).
There are none that can withstand your power.
O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us
Who have recourse to thee (say three times).
Holy Mary, I place this prayer in your hands,
(say three times).

The priest said that if I say this prayer for 3 consecutive days and then publish it, it will be granted to me. This is the Prayer to the Blessed Virgin and it was never known to fail. He said whatever it is in my heart, whatever it is that I truly seek, that I truly believe in, then She will help me find it. I made a friend in the church that day, and we said our goodbyes.
I asked her to help me make the right decision about things because I know that I cant keep running like this.
