Clear As Mud
Danielle Dyer

Feel the vibe as it surrounds you, it orbits
whether you acknowledge it or ignore it,
it is there.
Glistening in the darkness, sparkling in the eyes
of believers.
It is found in a spark of the eyes of hopeful
ones not quite grasping the meaning.
It lays behind your tired eyes at night,
waiting for you to shine your heart upon it.
It quietly cradles your thoughts during the day.
You feel it's presence now and again but brush it
away from fear of giving in.
To feel is to be weak? Not quite.
It's love, it's friendship, it's memories.
Memories trying to escape and some dying to be
born. This isn't news to anyone but a reminder of
how short our lives are or could be.
Don't hold back ever, say what you want to say,
live how you want to live, and be who you want to be
always. You never know when you will have the
chance to do or say it all over again.
Shine and make sure everyone's watching.
