Fading Time
Rob Badger

Yeah its about time
the sun has set
upon the line.
I have been down this road a few times
Gathering love and memories
In my mind.
I can not wait for the day where
I find the girl
With love to share.
Just my heart and hers
Where all is right and fair.
No turmoil, No shame
Just us together: hand, in hand
We feel the same
In this play of life
I have taken the role
Where your soul, is my soul
Where you love me, and I love you
Through and through, always and forever
We will never part, we will never sever.
Yeah it is about time
The moon light has shed
Upon the line.
The road has been long
But I had known all along
You would join me, you would never flee
Through my pain, strife, agony
My joys, my thrills, and my glee.
You have come, you have stayed
And you have helped me
Find me.

"aahhh the perfect love eh, and wouldn't we all like some of that. After the heady rush of the honeymoon period I don't think any relationship can ever be perfect and there's a lot to be said for a comfortable love rather than an all encompasing one. Lovely poem, nice one. " -- sooz, Barrow, Cumbria, England.
"Thank you." -- Rob, USA.
