TITLE (EDIT)
Friendfoe
DESCRIPTION
A song I wrote about my boyfriends friend who confessed she's in love with him and tried to kiss him, one drunken night. He told me about it the next day, denying he still had feelings for her...because he once had. Two months later he broke up with me because she had become a "distraction", as he put it. He came back a week later, to say he was no longer distracted, he couldnt kiss her, couldnt hold her hand. He wants me to be by his side for the rest of his life...I took him back. But Im not certain he wont get distracted again. Im not a song writer--but I thought I would submit this anyway. Hope you like it.

Friend,Foe

You introduced us
We looked into each
Others face
Her brown eyes didnt know where they were
Who I was
I knew,
It filled the space between
Us
The web in her mind--
I knew
But it wasnt her fault
It wasnt mine
Was it you
Was it you that spun that web
Oh yeah, it was you

Corus:
Your friend, my foe
Oh, oh yeah
I know that look cause its how I look at you
I know that laugh cause you make me do it too
Oh yeah, yeah thats right

Shes tangled
Up next to me
You keep us both hanging here
Stuck in mid air
Id rather you swallow me up
Or herand I could watch

Corus:
Your friend, my foe
Oh, oh yeah
I know that look cause its how I look at you
I know that laugh cause you make me do it too
Oh yeah, yeah thats right

I knew, I knew oh yeah, I knew
