ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I'm currently a College Student enrolled at Auburn University in Auburn, AL. I'm studying Political Science, but thinking of changing my major to English, or double majoring. I'm interested in computers, the outdoors and of course, writing. I read a lot instead of watching TV, because in truth there is nothing more of value to watch on TV anymore.

How To Read This Diatribe
Kevin Myrick

Dear Unfortunate Reader:

My name is Kevin Myrick and you might be wondering why I am stating the obvious, but don't worry,
I'm about to tell you.

I'm beginning a new writing project that will take an entire year to write (or possibly more,
depending on how interested I still feel in it after this month is over...) and in order to add to
the experience, and make my life a bit easier, I'm going to write it here in Livejournal (after I save
a copy on my computer, of course) and also publish it on my account at Storymania
(http://www.storymania.com/cgibin/sm2/smshowauthorbox.cgi?page=1&author=MyrickKα=M <-this would be me)
so that I can later get some more commentary on it from not just here (well, hopefully I get commentary
on what I write here) but also some help in editing it. So yeah. I'm still doing regular posts with the song
titles, but you will also see posts that have the name of a playing card. It will have a star right before the
title, so that it looks something like this:
* The Joker .

So anyhow, look out for the next few weeks for an amazing amount of writing coming your way, since I might get
bored with it and decide to stop. But I'm really going to try to just do one of these updates (the ones for the
project) once every week, like say, on a Saturday. They'll be over whatever I want, much like my livejournal now,
but with a bit more of a twist. For instance, I might write a funny story about things that have happened to me in
the past, or an essay about something I don't particularly like that week (or might like) or just like a regular
livejournal post. Either way, I promise it will be cool.

Oh, for more regular updates, please read my livejournal at http://www.livejournal.com/users/kevinmyrick

Enjoy!
Kevin Myrick
