they ebb and flow,
- like hundreds of lightly-bronzed moons,
spontaneously adrift upon a crimson ocean -

peacefully playing their part,
in a country's ongoing construction
of its ideological gibbet,

from which a State's morality,
will some day, surely,
be hanged.
