My Love
Vankipuram Rajagopal Sridharan

Curly lips are to blame
Parted at thoughts deep within
Pearl Harbour's here then;

The eyes were swords 'n' clear
The nose could down a glacier
The smile when lips part
could drive a blade to split the heart;

The breeze that sets in
when she sways
could blow the ships at sea
The legs, long and slender
Sheer pairs of golden splendour
The angels crowned the mystic beauty
and Venus could only shrink in shame.

Consigned to this flame
A pleasure of eternal bliss
I know not what the future holds
This flame holds aloft my soul.

I live within life
No longer aloof or in grief
I have you and the stirred up soul
Stars so close and heavens at my feet;

Deep blue eyes lead me on'
Glories and accolades pouring on
Fame and riches so assured
The gift of love that life promised.
