Martin De Leon

The dead hums seep through the parenthetical shield of sunlight
You are the text,
eject eight-track omega bytes of dusty mechanics
bursts of silence/ drink from the scent of eyelids
hidden. There is no subtlety when wires weave identities through circuitry of present history. Prolonged pasts and grains of gravity, downwards syntax break the empty temporal subjectivity and ceaseless deciphered meaning
gray trees, plug-in the veins of vast vocalized indentions in the wind/
punctured the pavement with the patter of my bare fingertips to feel the street sweat. And it's the clutter of sonic clusters bouncing in paraspace
caught by eardrums/ listen to the creak of Chinese hands hover above the written word, rubbing ink across sands, its somewhere between the 7th century and 61st street. I walk
in the skeletal structure of Dionysus searching for broken pens and pills of codified dreams/ skipping beams of moonlight, concrete in the urbanized future of Crete
populated by rhythmatic robotics refused rebuttal that resorted to walking the rivers of Neptune, on a cold day in june post-industrialized moon
hear the hiss of happiness atop the stutter of transparent subject matter,
particles of stillness peeled-back, smell the screen. A Berlin airlift on the sensorium
soaring supplicates gravity to levitate towards a never-ending declination
that's why here and now are always synthesized to get down,
looped light to listen to the flesh of the night
structural collapse weave white strands of words, blue sound
intermix to solidify speech, recorded blinking of ears/ deep drones
telephony/ aural calligraphy/ bending shadows
