on the horrid ground.
Clothes torn and tools
unsheathed, making the water
flow out.
Mama went on vacation
for a long time. She never
wrote, mailed, or came back.
I found her name etched
into stone.
I love you, Mama.
You left me at home, so
I'm bringing home with me
to you. Ripped.
Clothes ripped, heart torn,
soul frozen, flesh disembodied.
