what happened to the boy in the picture by my window,
what happened to the boy i used to know?
his smiles have went and his happiness has gone,
the good times vanished and the pain has come,
he is overcome by insecurity,
the walls are closing in and time is counting down,
for him to make a change,
for him to make a change and be happy.
life is flashing before my eyes,
'i am okay' is one of my many lies,
i take all my feelings and keep them bottled up inside,
waiting for a moment when i am not afraid to hide,
i need to feel alive and be strong enough to smile,
i hope that day is coming soon,
cause i have been waiting a while.

he sits alone listening to sad songs all day,
hoping that the day will come when the pain will go away,
he feels down cause he believes there is no reason,
no reason for him to be here,
waiting for the day when he overcomes that fear,
and for him to make a change,
