Xylocitin For Me Please
Kendall Wilt

Upon this salty beach

Where I rest my weary feet

My toes dig into the grainy cool

I sit back on my elbows in a warming pool

The waves crackle and roar against a soft amber glow

I'll never leave because this is all I know

Seagulls play in the wind in the background

The silence of city streets I found

Here in this hidden quiet place

Back against the dunes and the world at my face
