You Never Changed
Jeni Jopes

Whisper sweetly
Breath gently
Smile enough
All those things you did
All those times you lied
Really get to me now
I don't know how
But i miss you
My world revolved
Around you.
Until you let it fall
Every day i was with you
Every night i was dreaming of you
Even when i saw pictures
I'd put you in them
And smile
I don't know why.
So many times you lied
So many days you tried
too hard
To be someone else.
And I'm sorry to say
But you never changed.
